About the Role

We are seeking a passionate French Culture and Language Expert - Remote to join our innovative team at Welocalize. In this role, you will contribute to an exciting language evaluation project aimed at enhancing AI systems' understanding and generation of the French language. This position allows you to work flexibly from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on AI development.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance.
  • Identify issues and provide refined, high-quality rewritten responses.
  • Create natural prompts and responses in French to improve conversational datasets.
  • Collaborate with global teams to enhance AI language models.
  • Perform structured tasks such as preference ranking, prompt-response writing, and grammaticality checks.

Requirements

  • Background as a teacher or experience in teaching/writing in French (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong grammatical accuracy.
  • Familiarity with cultural nuances in the French language.
  • Comfortable with structured tasks and evaluations.
  • Ability to commit ~20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
