About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Senior Linguist to join Welocalize's dynamic team. In this remote position, you will leverage your expertise in translation and copy editing to support marketing and life sciences projects, ensuring high-quality content that resonates with target audiences. As a Freelance Senior Linguist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional language services.

What You'll Do

• Provide translation and copy editing services for marketing and life sciences content.
• Ensure accuracy and cultural relevance in translations, particularly for Investigator facing, Patient facing, and Pharmacy materials.
• Utilize CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, and Trados to enhance translation efficiency.
• Collaborate with a global team to deliver high-quality services and innovative language solutions for clients.
• Work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple projects effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of translation processes and practices.
• Maintain a professional level understanding of English (US/GB) and native level expertise in Sesotho.
• Engage in long-term collaborations with Welocalize and its clients.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in translation and copy editing.
• Professional level understanding of English (US/GB).
• Native level expertise in Sesotho with cultural understanding.
• Familiarity with CAT tools like XTM, Phrase, and Trados.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Translation degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a global team.
