Senior Strategy & Planning Analyst - Remote

About the Role

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Strategy & Planning Analyst to join our remote-first team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our core planning and capacity models, ensuring that our growth is supported by robust analytics and data-driven decisions. As a Senior Strategy & Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market (GTM) strategies and driving productivity across our teams.

What You'll Do

• Own and enhance our core planning and capacity models in Pigment.
• Maintain workforce planning infrastructure, including headcount models and role-based productivity assumptions.
• Build scalable, self-service planning processes that reduce manual coordination.
• Document model logic, assumptions, and data flows for cross-functional understanding.
• Define and measure capacity across all GTM teams: Sales, SE, CX, SDR, and Partners.
• Analyze rep productivity metrics such as deal cycle time and win rates.
• Build standard reporting on GTM performance to support planning decisions.
• Partner with Data and Field Ops teams to translate operational needs into planning models.

Requirements

• 3+ years in strategy & operations, consulting, GTM analytics, or workforce planning.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and drive action.
• Experience in building and maintaining analytical models.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from building to documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pigment or similar planning tools.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting infrastructure.
• Understanding of market segmentation and pricing strategies.
