Freelance Data Analyst - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Freelance Data Analyst - Remote to assist and support our business and data intelligence practice for a variety of our client work. This role will deliver rich data and analytics to both our internal teams in support of our client work as well as providing key insights to our clients. As a Freelance Data Analyst, you will perform ad hoc website traffic and performance analysis using Google Analytics 4, ensuring that our clients receive actionable insights based on solid data.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and produce analytics reports for our clients, showcasing data-driven insights.
• Assist with data pulling, reporting, and the creation of presentation decks that effectively communicate findings.
• Work daily within digital analytics platforms to explore complex data sets and make recommendations for marketing strategies and/or site design changes.
• Collaborate with our Strategy and Data teams to inventory and audit existing data sources and vendors.
• Provide overall support to the Senior Analytics Analyst across various projects, ensuring timely delivery of insights.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years developing marketing performance measurement using digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
• Proficiency in GA4 and the ability to navigate the platform with minimal supervision beyond site-specific context.
• Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• An understanding of marketing data metrics and the ability to analyze said metrics effectively.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working at or for a Digital Marketing Agency.
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SEO and its impact on data analysis.
