Football Data Manager - Remote
About the Role
We're hiring a Football Data Manager - Remote to support the Football Technology & Data department at FIFA. In this role, you will manage football data projects, particularly during FIFA tournaments, while coordinating with various stakeholders and maintaining project documentation. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a global team and work on high-profile projects in the sports data industry.
What You'll Do
- Support football data projects at FIFA tournaments, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
- Coordinate communications with data providers and stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Manage project requirements and delivery plans using Azure DevOps.
- Draft delivery reports on project advancements to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Maintain the Football Data Catalog, ensuring all data is organized and accessible.
- Support stakeholders in implementing football data projects effectively.
- Collaborate with Football Data Operations for testing sessions to ensure data integrity.
- Document meetings and centralize resources within the team for easy access.
- Monitor live and post-match data delivery during tournaments to ensure quality.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in project or product management, specifically in technology or data projects.
- Experience in the football industry is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other FIFA languages is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with strong writing skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or PowerBI is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or project management.
- Strong communication and cooperative skills, with a good understanding of football as a consumer.

- Availability to work up to 20 days per month.
