Field Service Technician - Remote Opportunities Available
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and service-minded Field Service Technician remote to join our team at Epiroc. This position is based in Athens, Greece, with frequent travel to customer sites, primarily in the Skouries and Olympiada mining facilities in Northern Greece. What You'll Do
- Perform preventive inspections, scheduled and unscheduled repairs, troubleshooting, and other technical interventions on Epiroc equipment.
- Act as a communication link between customers and the Epiroc Sales & Service teams.
- Provide customers with technical information, documentation, and professional guidance.
- Promote Epiroc Parts & Service solutions and share product-related information.
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
- Assess customer needs and offer tailored service solutions.
- Prepare and submit all required service reports, job sheets, travel documents, and legally required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Support the service planning process by providing timely information to internal departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Practical hands-on experience with machinery or equipment.
- Good knowledge of English, including technical manuals and communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Nice to Have
- Technical High School or Polytechnic degree, ideally in Automotive, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Equipment fields.
