Experienced Full Stack Developer Contractor - Remote

About the Role

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer Contractor to support our client by developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of modern web applications. This Full Stack Developer remote position focuses on building scalable, high-performance solutions with strong integration between user interfaces, server-side logic, and cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack web applications using Python and modern front-end technologies.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.
• Build and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and application services.
• Define, manage, and optimize databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Leverage AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application functionality, security, and reliability.
• Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and performance improvements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python for back-end development.
• Experience building and integrating front-end and back-end systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Ability to debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and security.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Exposure to containerization or serverless architectures within AWS.
• Prior consulting or contract-based development experience.
