Executive Communications Lead - Remote Opportunity in Web3

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Communications Lead to join our team at the Stellar Development Foundation. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of blockchain technology and executive communications. You will support our CEO, a key spokesperson for the Stellar layer 1 network and the broader blockchain industry, ensuring impactful messaging across various channels.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, including content creation, speechwriting, and strategic planning to ensure consistent messaging.
• Drive media relations and manage social media to enhance the visibility of our CEO and the Stellar Development Foundation.
• Create high-impact content and materials, including speeches, presentations, and executive briefs for various engagements.
• Support the optimization of the CEO's time and strategic engagements by coordinating meetings and media interactions.
• Manage strategic relationship opportunities, serving as the primary contact for high-value engagements.
• Coordinate complex travel and event logistics for internal and external engagements.
• Balance high-level strategy with detailed execution to ensure flawless operational delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in executive or corporate communications, with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in executive communications, including speechwriting and media relations.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
• Strong leadership presence and collaboration skills to influence and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives.
• Adaptability and a hands-on mentality, willing to travel extensively with executive leadership.

• Experience in blockchain, fintech, or Web3 industries.
• Familiarity with decentralized finance and its communication needs.
