Entry-Level QA Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level QA Analyst Remote to join our dynamic team at Proof of Play. As a fully remote company, we prioritize clear communication, respect, and collaboration. What You'll Do

• Play (and break) the game across iOS and Android platforms.
• Test new features, events, and content updates before they go live.
• Hunt down bugs through test cases and exploratory testing.
• Log clear, actionable bug reports using tools like Jira or Linear.
• Verify fixes and assist with regression testing before releases.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and production to enhance quality.
• Think like a player and provide feedback on gameplay, UX, and overall feel.
• Help maintain QA documentation and test cases organized and updated.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in QA, Community Management, or software development (professional, internship, or hands-on experience accepted).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
• Genuine interest in mobile games.
• Comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.
• Able to work PST hours or flexible enough to overlap regularly.

Nice to Have

• Passion for mobile games, especially auto-RPGs or live service games.
• Experience using Jira, Linear, or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with test cases and QA workflows.
• Basic understanding of game development or software development processes.
• Background in community support or player-facing roles.
