Entry-Level Network Engineer - Remote Opportunity in Germany

About the Role

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Network Engineer to join our team at Brand Orbit Media. This remote position based in Germany offers an exciting opportunity to design, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. As an Entry-Level Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable connectivity and enhancing network performance in a remote-first environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and redundancy best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network projects.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Entry-level to mid-level experience (0-4+ years) in network administration, network engineering, or related IT roles.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and structured working style.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English and based in Germany with the legal right to work full-time.
