Enterprise Network Team Lead - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Team Lead to oversee and drive the delivery of enterprise network services for a large financial services organization. This remote position combines hands-on technical leadership with people and delivery management, supporting a highly regulated, mission-critical environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers supporting enterprise and data center environments.
• Own day-to-day network operations, including incident response, problem management, and change delivery.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex network and connectivity issues.
• Drive standards, best practices, and consistency across routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing platforms.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support business initiatives.
• Ensure network solutions meet regulatory, security, and availability requirements.
• Support network modernization, resilience, and automation initiatives.
• Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• Proven experience leading or acting as a senior/lead engineer within a network team.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and network security concepts.
• Experience supporting highly regulated or mission-critical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex, multi-site networks.
• Ability to lead remote teams and work effectively across time zones.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with network automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions.
• Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
