Engineering Manager - Developer Experience for Web3

About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for Developer Experience to join Chainlink Labs, a leading player in the Web3 space. This Engineering Manager remote position offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of engineers, focusing on enhancing developer tooling and CI/CD processes. As the ecosystem grows, your role will be pivotal in shaping the infrastructure that supports our decentralized oracle networks.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately ten engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of both off-chain and on-chain code.
• Oversee the creation of advanced testing frameworks, ensuring comprehensive coverage across multiple blockchain products.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product management to define robust developer tooling and operational frameworks.
• Champion best practices in reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability within the Developer Experience team.
• Manage project timelines and team productivity through effective communication and project management practices.
• Recruit top engineering talent to enhance team capabilities and drive innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling in complex environments.
• Experience in building and leading teams responsible for mission-critical tooling and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Golang and its ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• A servant-leadership mindset focused on empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.
