Electrical Engineer - Site Supervision (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer - Site Supervision (Remote) to join our team at AECOM. This position is part of AECOM’s Fursa Program and is exclusively open to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book. As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee and monitor all on-site electrical works for a large mixed-use residential development project, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and project timelines.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and inspect electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm).
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation to ensure quality compliance.
• Monitor contractor progress, workmanship, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to resolve site interface issues effectively.
• Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare detailed inspection and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local authority regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in site supervision of residential buildings or villa developments.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, lighting design implementation, and ELV coordination.
• Familiarity with local authority approvals and utility authority requirements.
• Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale mixed-use projects.
• Certification in project management or related fields.
• Knowledge of advanced electrical design software.
