About the Role
We are seeking a Director & Team Leader - Relationship Manager - SME ME to join our team at Standard Chartered. This remote position is pivotal in managing the Delhi Centre for Business Banking Medium Enterprise, focusing on both existing client portfolios and acquiring new business opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers and Service Managers to drive growth in the ME Business in Delhi.
- Onboard new clients, including Agri NTB accounts, while maintaining the health of existing portfolios.
- Generate leads by meeting with existing clients and collaborating with CAs and consultants.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs, ensuring both revenue generation and client satisfaction.
- Monitor account health and identify any suspicious activities for timely action.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations, embedding operational risk monitoring into business processes.
- Promote compliance with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, leading by example.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Credit Risk, Audit, and Trade Ops to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit analysis and customer-focused selling skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
- Qualifications: MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant, or similar specialization in Finance & Credit Analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk and compliance effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience in managing teams remotely.
- Knowledge of Agri NTB accounts and related financial products.
- Familiarity with operational risk management frameworks.
