Director of Sales & Events - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales & Events to join our team at Acme Hospitality. This remote Director of Sales & Events position offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales strategies and drive revenue across our boutique hotels and restaurants. You will play a crucial role in cultivating client relationships and identifying growth opportunities in a competitive market.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for hotels and restaurants.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, events, and partnerships.
- Build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, local businesses, and event planners.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and high-value guests to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and manage any sales or reservations staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and F&B teams to coordinate campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and revenue metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in hospitality, including boutique hotels, restaurants, or luxury travel.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team.
- Proficiency with hotel PMS, CRM, and sales analytics tools preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for hospitality.

- Experience with Tripleseat, Ctuit, Focus POS, Microsoft Office, Paylocity, Toast POS, Stay-in-Touch (Hotel PMS), OpenTable, and CTuit.
