Director of Retention - Remote

About the Role

mindbodygreen is seeking a Director of Retention - Remote to lead our retention strategies for our expanding direct-to-consumer supplement business. This role is crucial in enhancing customer loyalty and maximizing lifetime value while reducing churn. What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end subscription retention strategy for our supplement business.
• Optimize the full subscriber lifecycle to enhance customer engagement.
• Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap to test and implement retention strategies.
• Design segmentation strategies based on various data points to tailor our marketing efforts.
• Own all retention-focused flows in Klaviyo, ensuring effective communication with our subscribers.
• Partner with content teams to develop engaging retention content that resonates with our audience.
• Drive cross-sell and upsell revenue through targeted campaigns.
• Conduct regular cohort analysis to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build and lead a high-performing retention team to achieve our ambitious goals.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams on packaging and fulfillment strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retention or lifecycle marketing.
• Proven track record in reducing churn in DTC subscription businesses.
• Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo and other marketing automation tools.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cohort analysis.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with a focus on results.
• Experience with referral and loyalty program design is a plus.
