Director of Operations/​Strategy - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Operations/Strategy to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will support the cofounder in driving company-wide planning and cross-functional coordination, ensuring that all teams are aligned with our strategic goals. This Director of Operations/Strategy remote position is essential for adding structure, managing processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead annual and quarterly planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with Sentient's strategic goals.
• Track and monitor goals and roadmaps to ensure they align with our mission and strategy.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination, resolving dependencies and bottlenecks effectively.
• Collaborate with department heads to drive execution and accountability across teams.
• Act as a positive force for operational excellence, improving velocity through effective communication and process enhancements.
• Prepare the cofounder for strategy, operations, and finance meetings, providing market insights and key talking points.
• Represent the cofounder in meetings, ensuring their perspective is accurately conveyed.
• Draft communications and documents on behalf of the cofounder, maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, business development, or a similar role, preferably in a high-growth environment.
• MBA or experience in investment banking or consulting is a plus.
• Strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and company-wide planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities, with a knack for building consensus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of open source software and artificial intelligence is a plus.

• Experience in the Web3 or AI sectors.
