About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of National Sales & Business Development remote to join the Schulte Companies team! This role is pivotal in driving our mission of exceptional hospitality and service culture. You will be responsible for creating strategic relationships within the association segment and promoting cross-location selling, ensuring our internal and external stakeholders' needs are prioritized. What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with top target accounts identified by the VP of Sales and the Director of National Sales.
  • Create a comprehensive business plan that aligns with quarterly and annual business and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors of Sales to uncover market data and secure national accounts.
  • Prospect new accounts and market opportunities through weekly goals and strategic outreach.
  • Manage RFP solicitations for newly acquired and transitioning properties.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote Graduate Hotels by Hilton.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the VP of Sales on account status and market insights.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive hotel sales experience with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess impacts on hotel revenues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 20-40% as needed.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to work remotely.
