Director of IT Infrastructure - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure to lead our IT operations in a remote capacity. As the Director of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for Grunt Style. This role requires a strategic thinker who can direct all IT operations to meet customer requirements while supporting and maintaining existing applications and developing new technical solutions.

What You'll Do

• Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and recommend technical solutions.
• Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
• Direct operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Produce a detailed timeline for each application release and implement effective project control by monitoring the progress of the software release and reporting the status.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT professionals, establishing clear goals, processes, and performance expectations.
• Participate in hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.
• Represent the IT function at business review meetings when appropriate.
• Conduct interviews and make recommendations for new hires, consultants, and/or replacement personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information services, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in ERP systems (Fulfil.io a plus).
• 5 years in Omni environment (retail, wholesale, online).
• 5 years in Network Management and Security.
• 5 years in Contract negotiations and Vendor management.
• Knowledge of AWS, Cloud Computing, and cost estimating.
• Experience in high-growth companies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical capacity.

Nice to Have

• Shopify experience.
• O365 experience.
• Experience with executive interactions and negotiations with SVP, EVP, and C-level executives.
