Director of Finance - Strategic Leadership Role

About the Role

ICM Solutions is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Finance remote to guide our financial operations and support our continued growth. This high-impact role is responsible for shaping financial strategy, strengthening financial processes, and partnering closely with senior leadership to drive organizational success.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the finance team, managing, mentoring, and coaching a high-performing accounting team.
• Oversee accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Deliver timely, actionable financial insights to senior leadership, leading internal reporting for business units.
• Guide the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles, partnering with department leaders.
• Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide financial perspectives to support organizational strategy and participate in the development of long-term business plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
• 7–10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence across functions, and manage organizational change.
