Director of Artificial Intelligence - Remote Leadership Role

About the Role

We're hiring a Director of Artificial Intelligence to join our innovative team at Callsure AI. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, research, development, and optimization of our AI systems. As a key player in our organization, you will define the AI strategy and technical roadmap, ensuring we remain at the forefront of AI and voice intelligence innovation.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the long-term AI vision, strategy, and technical roadmap.
• Lead research and applied development in ASR, TTS, and conversational orchestration.
• Design, train, and optimize transformer models and sequence-to-sequence architectures.
• Build and manage end-to-end MLOps pipelines, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on real-time inference systems and scalable backend services.
• Ensure robustness, fairness, and security of AI systems using advanced evaluation metrics.
• Mentor and scale teams of AI researchers, data scientists, and ML engineers.
• Align AI initiatives with business and regulatory requirements, translating technical concepts into measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
• Proven experience in algorithm design and statistical learning.
• Advanced proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational AI systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with speech technologies and real-time voice interaction systems.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Vision and multimodal learning.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python; knowledge of C++, Java, or Go is a plus.
• Experience deploying AI models into production environments across cloud platforms.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with AI-driven voice platforms or healthcare AI systems.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices and data privacy regulations.
