Client Reporting Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Rathbones as a Client Reporting Engineer in a remote capacity, where you will play a crucial role in transforming complex financial data into engaging, client-ready reports. What You'll Do

• Build and modify reporting layouts using client reporting layout tools, including charts, tables, and performance pages.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, macros, and functions for complex data transformations.
• Monitor and optimize data build tool models for performance, ensuring efficient query execution.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL/ELT processes and business logic.
• Translate valuation models and financial data into clear narratives and visuals.
• Manage report timelines to meet client reporting deadlines and support critical report production runs.

Requirements

• Experience in designing professional client reports with strong document design skills.
• Proficient in SQL and data build tools.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data orchestration tools.
• Ability to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse, Power BI, and Alteryx reporting tools.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and statistical modeling techniques.
