About the Role

Join us as a Digital Capabilities Product Owner in a pivotal role that focuses on delivering complex Generative AI (GAI) programs. This Digital Capabilities Product Owner remote position is part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a leading academic publisher and assessment organization.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Lead Digital Capabilities Product Owner (LDCPO) in managing the program backlog and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee the technical development of a new GAI platform and ensure the successful delivery of GAI-driven content calibration.
  • Prioritize development tasks to maximize value and ensure alignment with user expectations.
  • Manage the end-to-end stakeholder journey from piloting to ongoing support and performance.
  • Engage in live delivery incident management processes to ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in product owner or product manager roles with a strong understanding of digital capabilities.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and strategic thinking.
  • Experience in English language assessment and understanding of validity and reliability standards.
  • Project Management qualifications such as Agile (SAFe POPM) or Prince2.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using and building with AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience with SaaS platform integrations.
  • Background in education, training, or assessment.
