About the Role

We are seeking a DevRel / Growth Specialist to join our dynamic team at Dev.fun. This is a remote position where you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between developers and our innovative platform. As a DevRel / Growth Specialist, you will be the face of Dev.fun in the vibrant coding and AI builder ecosystem, helping to connect millions of builders with the resources they need to launch and monetize their applications.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary representative of Dev.fun within the coding and AI builder community, both online and in-person.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with developers, creators, and AI-native builders using tools like Cursor, Lovable, Replit, and Claude Code.
  • Engage with AI agent builders and facilitate human+agent workflows.
  • Bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 by communicating effectively with builders without using crypto jargon.
  • Experiment with various acquisition channels such as hackathons, events, partnerships, and content to discover what effectively converts builders to our platform.
  • Own the event strategy, including planning, partnerships, promotion, and execution.
  • Collaborate with Web2 AI and vibe coding communities for co-hosting and cross-promotion opportunities.
  • Lead launch initiatives by rallying the right people and communities around our projects.
  • Continuously assess and improve Dev.fun's positioning, messaging, and channels to appeal to Web2 audiences.
  • Handle various tasks as needed, including content creation, outreach, and event logistics.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping projects using AI tools like Cursor, Replit, Lovable, and Claude.
  • Demonstrated growth in a community, developer program, or audience; results matter more than years of experience.
  • Strong connections within the developer community and awareness of trending tools and communities.
  • A passion for sharing insights and engaging with the online community.
  • Natural relationship-building skills that foster collaboration.
  • Familiarity with crypto culture and dynamics.

Nice to Have

  • Connections to the tech and AI scene in San Francisco.
  • Experience in content creation, including tweet threads, demos, and engaging event recaps.
