Design Intern - Jewelry Creation Studio

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Design Intern for our Jewelry Creation Studio at Chanel. As a Design Intern, you will assist the team with various projects, gaining invaluable experience in the luxury jewelry sector. This Design Intern role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the creative process and contribute to the studio's innovative designs.

What You'll Do

• Assist in jewelry sketches and illustrations using Illustrator.
• Create quick color renderings and gouaches for presentations.
• Develop volumes in plastiline and create models for design concepts.
• Support the team in daily operations and presentations of designs.
• Collaborate with the development department to enhance design processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a jewelry design school or related field.
• Strong artistic sensitivity and a desire to learn about a creative studio.
• Proficient in drawing, gouache techniques, and software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Attention to detail, commitment, and rigor in your work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to team dynamics.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in design or related fields.
• Familiarity with luxury goods or jewelry design.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software.
