About the Role

We are excited to offer a Data Engineering Summer Trainee position that allows you to kickstart your career in the IT and Telecom world. This remote Data Engineering Summer Trainee role is designed for active students who are eager to learn and grow. The internship lasts for three months, from July to September 2026, and we are open to offering the best talents a chance to continue working with us.

What You'll Do

• Join the Applications Development team within the Network & Performance Engineering department.
• Engage in the software development of web applications that support the evolution of Nokia products.
• Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to create data processing pipelines.
• Analyze telecom networks data and contribute to crafting knowledge from raw data.
• Develop insights about the future of the telecom industry through data analysis.

Requirements

• Active student status in a relevant field.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work full-time during the summer months.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Knowledge in data engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong passion for data, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
