Customer Operations & Logistics Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Upway, the leading platform for certified second-hand e-bikes. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to balance exceptional customer service with efficient logistics planning.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers during bike drop-off, conducting a 5-minute technical check (frame, motor, battery) and hand over sold bikes through Click & Collect.
• Plan daily and weekly pickup routes for our drivers in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, optimizing routes to minimize empty kilometers.
• Manage relationships with external carriers for regional freight shipments.
• Organize the check-in zone at the Upcenter, ensuring all digital records (serial numbers, customer data) are accurately captured in the system.
• Provide proactive solutions to any issues that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction remains high.

Requirements

• Strong logistics understanding with a natural talent for planning and organization.
• Excellent service mentality, thriving in customer interactions even during high-volume times.
• Technical interest in bicycles and e-bikes, though you do not need to be a professional mechanic.
• Bilingual communication skills in German and English, both over the phone and in person.
• Problem-solving skills to quickly address challenges, such as traffic delays or customer inquiries.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with e-bike technology and maintenance.
• Knowledge of route optimization software.
