About the Role

We are looking for a talented Contract Writer to join our team working on PUBG: Black Budget, our new extraction shooter. This is a short-term, freelance-based collaboration for 3 months, with a possible extension to 6 months. As a Contract Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging narratives and character dialogues that resonate with players. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project in the gaming industry.

What You'll Do

• Develop compelling storylines and character arcs for PUBG: Black Budget.
• Write in established tones and distinct character voices that align with the game's theme.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure narratives fit within multiplayer design-driven constraints.
• Utilize your knowledge of military terminology and FPS genre to enhance the writing.
• Complete a writing test if shortlisted to demonstrate your skills.

Requirements

• AAA or AA experience in game writing, preferably in projects thematically similar to FPS games.
• Strong familiarity with military terminology and the FPS genre.
• Ability to write in established tones and distinct character voices.
• Experience working within multiplayer design-driven constraints.
• Portfolio of writing samples showcasing your previous work.

Nice to Have

• Experience in game development or collaboration with game studios.
• Knowledge of the PUBG franchise.
