About the Role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator / Editor to join our team at NewFinance Mediengesellschaft mbH in a fully remote capacity. As a Content Creator / Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative within the insurance and finance sectors. This position offers the opportunity to create engaging content that resonates with professionals in the industry, making a significant impact on our flagship platform, the Maklerblog.

What You'll Do

• Oversee contributions from industry authors and ensure high-quality content production.
• Conduct journalistic research, write compelling articles, and interview industry professionals.
• Work on multimedia formats, including video and audio, to enhance content engagement.
• Cover industry events editorially, both on-site and through social media platforms.
• Develop editorial ideas and identify topics that engage our community.
• Contribute to other publications and projects within the insurance and finance sector.
• Utilize AI tools to support quality journalism and streamline content creation.
• Think creatively about how topics can be presented on social media platforms.

Requirements

• Journalistic experience in editorial, agency, publishing, or corporate communications.
• Completed studies in journalism, communication, German studies, business administration, or a comparable apprenticeship.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to engage various target audiences effectively.
• Affinity for social media and a willingness to learn and support the team.
• Curiosity and initiative to proactively identify relevant topics.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multimedia content creation.
• Familiarity with AI content tools.
• Previous work in the finance or insurance sectors.
