Construction QA/​QC Manager - Semiconductor Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to join our team at Leveraging U.S. Inc. This remote Construction QA/QC Manager position is crucial for overseeing quality assurance and control for large-scale, high-tech fabrication projects in the semiconductor industry. You will lead multi-discipline quality efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead the execution of QA/QC processes for piping systems (UPW, gas, chemical) and Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) systems.
• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP) and Inspection/Test Plans (ITP).
• Ensure all installations comply with ASME B31.3, SEMI standards, and NEC codes.
• Audit and monitor subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with internal and client quality requirements.
• Maintain QA/QC dashboards to track NCR volume, rework rates, and first-pass yield.
• Support pre-commissioning walkdowns and manage high-purity turnover documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Construction QA/QC, with at least 3 years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Deep knowledge of high-purity piping (Stainless Steel, PVDF, PolyPro) and IR fusion welding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong familiarity with ASME, SEMI, and NEC codes.
• Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage complex NDE/NDT activities.

Nice to Have

• ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Experience managing quality teams on large-scale "Mega-Fab" projects.
