Client Security Assurance Expert - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Client Security Assurance Expert - Remote to join our team at Experian, the world's leading global information services company. In this role, you will lead client audits and ensure that our security posture meets client requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact on our clients' security assurance processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead client audits, both onsite and virtual, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Support commercial teams with security controls and risk posture presentations.
• Review and negotiate contractual security clauses to protect client interests.
• Analyze audit results and follow up on security items to ensure resolution.
• Conduct gap analysis and articulate risks to stakeholders effectively.
• Maintain an evidence repository for security documentation to support audits.
• Respond to security inquiries from clients and partners, providing expert guidance.
• Provide consultancy on information security governance and best practices.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent client experiences.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Proven experience in executing internal or external audits.
• Strong project management skills to oversee audit processes.
• Experience with cybersecurity audits and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools to enhance security measures.
• Professional security certification (CCSP, CISSP, etc.) is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a client-facing role within a cybersecurity context.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
