Class B Route Driver - Dairy Delivery

About the Role

Meadow Gold Dairy is seeking a dependable Class B Route Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering dairy products to various customer locations while providing excellent customer service. As a Class B Route Driver, you will operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $32.00, with opportunities for career growth within our organization.

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies.
• Deliver products to customers, including schools, grocery stores, and nursing homes, according to route schedules.
• Load and unload products manually as required at designated stops.
• Communicate effectively with customers and resolve any complaints or issues.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure proper maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery tickets and driver logs.
• Attend driver workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Represent DFA positively during all interactions with customers.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL license.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate a straight truck safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to maintain good relations with customers.
• Experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Willingness to work early morning hours and flexible schedules.
