About the Role

We are seeking a China Research & Recruitment Lead to join our dynamic team at Serrula Research Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while leading our efforts in expanding our respondent network in China. As the China Research & Recruitment Lead, you will ensure high-quality expert participation across ongoing research projects, playing a critical role in our growth strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, engage, and onboard qualified professionals for research participation in China.
  • Maintain high-quality respondent pipelines aligned with project goals.
  • Build trust-based, long-term professional relationships with participants.
  • Manage outreach and scheduling for expert interviews and surveys.
  • Ensure respondent quotas are met with consistency and quality.
  • Track recruitment progress and improve internal workflows.
  • Work closely with research leads to align recruitment with project needs.
  • Provide contextual insight into regional dynamics that may impact outreach or response quality.

Requirements

  • Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong experience using WeChat for professional communication and community building.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
  • At least two years of professional experience in market research, recruitment, B2B sales, or community building.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
  • Exposure to qualitative research or expert interviews.

What We Offer

  • Base salary of £38,700 plus discretionary bonus.
  • 24 days holiday, plus public holidays, with additional holiday entitlement for weekend work.
  • 60% remote work flexibility, with 40% in-office work in Shoreditch.
  • Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
  • 3 months’ probation period.
