Capital Projects Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Capital Projects Analyst remote to join our dynamic team at GPT Group. This role is pivotal in supporting our Capital Projects team by providing data-driven insights into project statuses, performance, and procurement trends. As a Capital Projects Analyst remote, you will be instrumental in collating, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to our capital delivery profile, ensuring our strategic decisions are informed by accurate and timely information.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and analyze project statuses across operational capital and lessor works for our Office, Retail, and Logistics sectors, tracking milestones, budgets, forecasts, approvals, and timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive project dashboards and reports for senior management and stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to project steering committees.
• Identify and evaluate procurement opportunities to maximize value across all sectors, conducting cost-benefit analyses for tender packaging and contractor selection.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for capital project delivery, conducting post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend solutions for future enhancements.
• Analyze spending patterns and forecast capital expenditure requirements, coordinating with finance teams for accurate budget tracking and financial reporting.
• Partner with Capital Managers, external project managers, asset managers, and property teams to gather project intelligence and improve forecasting accuracy.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Project Analyst or Data Analyst in the property, construction, or similar industry.
• Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex research data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proactive approach with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
