About the Role

We are looking for a Call Center Coordinator - Remote to join our dedicated team at Family Allergy & Asthma. In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing call center operations and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible support. As a Call Center Coordinator - Remote, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients with allergies and asthma.

What You'll Do

  • Answer and manage incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Enter patient information accurately into the EMR system.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
  • Work under the supervision of the Call Center Manager to achieve departmental goals.
  • Promote patient independence and quality of life through effective communication.
  • Interact respectfully with staff at all levels to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a medical office or call center is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service abilities to enhance patient interactions.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with EMR systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
