About the Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Licensed Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team at Kin Insurance. As a Bilingual Licensed Customer Service Agent, you will play a crucial role in supporting homeowners across 13 states, providing them with the best customer experience in the home insurance market. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States while making a significant impact on our customers' lives.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the trusted voice of Kin, advocating for homeowners and addressing their inquiries with empathy and efficiency.
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound customer interactions, ensuring fast and accurate responses to policyholders.
- Educate customers on coverage details, policy changes, and the claims process.
- Create, update, and process homeowners insurance policies using multiple systems.
- Complete a mandatory, paid 10-week training program to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention by providing exceptional service.
- Work in a remote-first environment with flexibility to manage your work-life balance.
- Utilize your bilingual (Spanish-speaking) skills to assist a diverse range of customers.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines insurance license is required.
- 6+ months of customer service experience in P&C, preferably in home insurance.
- Experience in a high-volume call center environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential.
- Hands-on experience with homeowners insurance policies and the ability to explain coverage clearly.
- Comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously to resolve customer inquiries.
- Strong active listening skills and a genuine empathetic approach to customer service.
