Business Development Representative - DACH Region
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) - Remote to join our dynamic team at SolarWinds. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving growth in the DACH region, specifically targeting Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As a BDR, you will not only make calls but also represent SolarWinds to potential customers, helping them understand our powerful and secure solutions that accelerate business transformation.
What You'll Do
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (phone, email, social) tailored to the DACH market.
- Conduct account mapping and research to identify key decision-makers.
- Perform technical "first-touch" demos in both German and English, showcasing the value of our solutions.
- Research and qualify leads to ensure they meet technical and business requirements.
- Maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce and manage your pipeline effectively.
- Provide market feedback to our global teams regarding customer needs and competitor trends.
- Achieve success metrics such as SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) and pipeline value.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in German (C1/C2) and professional proficiency in English.
- 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales or lead qualification.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in a business context.
- Understanding of the DACH market and its unique business culture.
