About the Role
Fastems is seeking two experienced Business Development Managers to join our team and drive our software business growth. As a Business Development Manager - Software, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our software solutions and increasing our market presence. What You'll Do
- Drive direct software sales from lead qualification to deal closure, ensuring a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and evolve software business models, pricing principles, and licensing approaches to maximize revenue.
- Engage directly with customers through meetings, workshops, and negotiations, fostering strong relationships.
- Support Fastems’ sales organization in effectively selling software offerings and identifying opportunities for recurring revenue.
- Contribute to the continuous development and renewal of Fastems’ software portfolio, ensuring it meets market demands.
- Build and scale software partner business models, defining partner roles and governance structures.
- Create and manage a structured partner lifecycle model, driving repeatable software sales through partner channels.
- Act as a key commercial interface between Fastems’ software teams, partners, and customers, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or equivalent technical or business-oriented education.
- 5+ years of experience in software business development, software sales, or commercialization.
- Strong understanding of B2B software business models, licensing, and monetization strategies.
- Experience in international and cross-functional environments, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
- Commercial, structured, and outcome-oriented approach to work.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-mix manufacturing automation and digitalization.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and their application in manufacturing.
