Business Development Manager - Remote Opportunity in New Zealand

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager remote to join Prospa, a company dedicated to unleashing the potential of small businesses. In this role, you'll focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with broker referrers and new partners across various industries. You'll collaborate closely with the New Zealand team to identify opportunities and elevate Prospa’s presence in the market, driving sustainable growth.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage partnerships by identifying and engaging with broker referrers and new partners, implementing strategic plans to drive business referrals and achieve sales targets.
• Drive sales growth by presenting Prospa’s value proposition to increase referral opportunities and stimulate deal flow.
• Collaborate with team members and partners to enhance market awareness and position Prospa as a market leader.
• Provide regular sales pipeline updates to management and maintain accurate information in the company CRM system.
• Train others to effectively overcome customer objections and articulate Prospa’s value proposition to a diverse range of business types.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in channel sales or managing key accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build and grow partnerships within referral channels.
• Strong relationship-building and engagement skills.
• Solid business acumen with a clear understanding of SME owner motivators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
