About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Director (Remote) with a strategic mindset and a robust commercial background to spearhead our initiatives in emerging markets. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our business into new geographical regions, ensuring that we capitalize on every opportunity for growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Market Expansion: Drive business development efforts in emerging markets, identifying and seizing growth opportunities.
  • Build and Manage Provider Relationships: Negotiate and manage relationships with local providers to facilitate market entry and growth.
  • Contract and Compliance Management: Handle contract negotiations and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Market Intelligence and Strategy: Analyze competitive landscapes and provide insights to shape market entry strategies.
  • Internal Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, ideally within the Gaming sector.
  • Strong background in commercial negotiations and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones, with a preference for candidates in South Africa.

  • Experience in navigating regulatory landscapes in emerging markets.
  • Strong analytical skills to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience in managing remote teams.
