Blockchain Application Support Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Ensure the application is running smoothly in production environments.
• Manage non-production environments such as pre-production and staging.
• Collaborate closely with application and infrastructure engineers to understand deployment processes.
• Apply fixes, improvements, and optimizations to applications and infrastructure.
• Identify and address issues that may impact production uptime or scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and triage application alerts and issues.
• Engage in incident and problem management, ensuring thorough follow-ups on resolutions.
• Continuously enhance monitoring tools and processes.
• Coordinate disaster recovery testing and audits.
• Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure, leveraging DevOps knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, JavaScript, Node.js, or Golang.
• Prior experience in application support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to analyze logs and identify anomalies.
• Curiosity and a desire to uncover problems and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and logging tools (Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
• Experience with container infrastructures (Kubernetes, Docker).
