Behavior Technician - Remote Opportunities Available
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at Opya. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact in the lives of children. What You'll Do
- Bring smiles and progress to kids ages 18 months–6 years old.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
- Collect data on your iPad to track growth and celebrate achievements.
- Collaborate with a dynamic clinical team.
- Travel to homes, daycares, or schools to provide individualized support.
- Receive consistent supervision and support from a Clinical Supervisor and BCBA.
Requirements
- Available Monday–Friday (1:00–6:00 PM).
- Be at least 18 years old.
- High School diploma.
- Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and insurance.
- Ability to lift/carry toys & materials (25–50 lbs).
- Energy to play, patience to teach, and heart to care.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with kids or individuals with Autism or are an RBT already.
- Speak Spanish or know ASL.

Who Will Succeed Here
Strong understanding of behavior analysis techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to effectively implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual child needs.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and proactive communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
Familiarity with data collection methods and tools, such as Excel or Google Sheets, for tracking child progress and outcomes, with a keen attention to detail in documenting sessions.
