About the Role

Join Anchorage Digital as a Backend Engineer in our Member of Technical Staff team. This remote position allows you to contribute to the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions participating in crypto. You will play a crucial role in implementing products within billing and revenue management, supporting the growth of our organization as we navigate increasing business complexity and regulatory oversight.

What You'll Do

• Design and build maintainable and extensible backend solutions for billing and revenue management.
• Drive work independently and lead medium-to-large projects, coordinating activities across teams.
• Break down large projects into manageable tasks and accurately estimate time and scope.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to analyze trade-offs and justify priorities.
• Mentor and guide team members in your area of specialization, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
• Strong appreciation for code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
• Experience in fast-paced agile software environments with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in billing and accounting product implementation.
• Familiarity with technologies such as GraphQL, gRPC, and Temporal.
• Comfort in diving into open source projects to troubleshoot issues.
