Azure Network Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Network Architect to join our global consultancy team on a fully remote basis. As an Azure Network Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust network solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. This Azure Network Architect remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with a talented team of IT professionals.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement Azure networking solutions, including VNets, peering, VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, App Gateway, and Front Door.
• Utilize your expertise in TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPNs, and network security to ensure optimal performance and security of network infrastructures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments using tools like Monitor, Network Watcher, and Log Analytics.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or similar tools to streamline deployment processes.
• Secure Azure resources, including Azure Key Vault, Azure Databricks, ADLS/Blob Storage, and Azure SQL, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality network solutions that meet client requirements.
• Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on project progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Azure Network Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on Azure networking.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security, and architecture.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Azure networking or related fields.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
