Automotive Service Porter - Part Time Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join our team as an Automotive Service Porter, a crucial role that ensures customer vehicles are maintained in pristine condition. This part-time remote position allows you to work flexibly while contributing to the overall cleanliness and efficiency of our dealership. As an Automotive Service Porter, you will be responsible for moving and washing customer vehicles, ensuring they are ready for service. You will also maintain cleanliness throughout our facility, including emptying trash cans and cleaning the customer lounge area. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our service department.

What You'll Do

• Wash customer vehicles and install seat covers and floor mats while vehicles are in the service area.
• Sweep and clean floors to maintain a tidy environment.
• Manage cardboard disposal and ensure grounds around the dealership are clean.
• Prepare used containers and fluids for recycling.
• Deliver and pick up customers and dealership vehicles.
• Clean the customer lounge area to enhance customer experience.
• Support the Service Director with various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.
• Strong sense of spatial orientation.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
