About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Version 1. As an Automation Test Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. You will collaborate with agile teams to help our clients achieve their business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions, and providing ongoing guidance and advice in testing.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute test strategies and scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct automated testing across various platforms including cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration, and acceptance tests.
  • Accurately record and monitor issues to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Support scrum teams in automating tests to guide development.
  • Review test environments and processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide test estimates and collaborate with team members to enhance testing processes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Automated Quality Assurance.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining testing frameworks using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source tools like Cypress, Karate, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Residency in the UK for five or more years with eligibility for Security Clearance (SC).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with exploratory and user acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with device testing and systems integration.
  • Knowledge of security software and scripting languages.
