Associate Event Technology Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Event Technology Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technology aspects of various events, ensuring seamless execution and a high-quality experience for participants. As an Associate Event Technology Manager, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance event engagement and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the technical setup and execution of virtual and hybrid events, utilizing platforms such as Cvent and other virtual meeting technologies.
• Collaborate with event planners to determine technology needs and provide recommendations for optimal solutions.
• Manage data collection and reporting to analyze event performance and improve future events.
• Coordinate with vendors and technical teams to ensure all equipment and software are functioning properly.
• Provide technical support during live events, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure a smooth experience.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in event technology management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of virtual meeting platforms, including Cvent, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HTML and CSS for basic web management related to event platforms.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in budget management and financial reporting for events.
• Familiarity with event production and logistics.
• Knowledge of indirect tax and tax technology, specifically Vertex O Series.
