Associate Director Surveyor - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Surveyor to join our team at Avison Young, a global commercial real estate advisory firm. This Associate Director Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our mission of creating vibrant buildings and places that deliver long-lasting social value. You will play a key role in our Valuation Team, ensuring high-quality valuation reports and collaborating with colleagues to drive business growth.

What You'll Do

• Carry out valuation instructions efficiently with a high degree of independence.
• Prepare concise and accurate valuation reports for Director review.
• Collaborate with valuation colleagues and assume personal responsibility for valuation instructions.
• Identify opportunities to grow the North West Valuation business.
• Contribute to Avison Young's strategic ambitions and collaborate with colleagues to realize new business opportunities.

Requirements

• RICS qualification (FRICS/MRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer.
• Strong working knowledge of the RICS ‘Red Book’ and relevant guidance notes.
• Excellent report writing skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in Loan Security and Asset Valuations is desirable.
• Proven ability to work smartly and efficiently to maximize profitability.

• Experience in a leadership role within a valuation team.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in commercial real estate.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
