About the Role

We’re hiring an Associate Director - Billing Operations Remote to lead our dynamic team at UBS. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and delivering superior client experiences. You will oversee end-to-end billing operations across various advisory programs, including Retirement Plan Consulting and Financial Planning.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on complex billing matters.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks across global processes.
• Develop and implement process automation and technology solutions to optimize workflows.
• Manage onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer.
• Define KPIs with senior leadership and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years in operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing large teams.
• Expertise in reconciliation, trade corrections, and back-office operations.
• Strong understanding of advisory programs and account billing operations.
• Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities at all levels.
• Advanced math and Excel proficiency; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
