Assistant Manager - Property Management (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Property Management to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing the overall operations of a portfolio of properties, enhancing their value through well-maintained and efficiently run facilities. As an Assistant Manager in Property Management, you will play a crucial role in effective cost management and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and budgeting for property operations and maintenance.
- Monitor and review property management policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate cyclical repairs, improvement works, and minor projects under guidance.
- Support security management and liaise with contractors providing services at the properties.
- Act as a point of contact for tenants, resolving issues in coordination with the team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in safety-related matters.
- Prepare reports and support audits and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualification in Building, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in property or facilities management.
- Basic knowledge of building services and M&E systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to be available 24/7 to manage operations and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent team player with strong planning and communication skills.
- Possesses project management capabilities and solid financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
